Saidi Balogun was conceived on February 5, 1967, in Kwara State, North Central Nigeria yet hails from Oyo State, Nigeria where he had his primary, secondary and tertiary institution.

He graduated from Kwara State Polytechnic (now Kwara State University).
He started acting in 1978, when he exhibited his first TV program titled "Youth Today" on NTA.
He produced his first movie titled "City Girl" in 1989 however had highlighted, created and coordinated a few Nigerian movies.

He has highlighted, produced and directed a few Nigerian movies throughout the years.
Saidi Balogun was hitched to nollywood on-screen character, Fathia Balogun however is currently isolated. He has two kids Khalid and Aaliyah Balogun.
