Youths in their hundreds on Friday 16th of October 2020 took to the streets in
Ona - Ara Local Government Ibadan, the Oyo state capital to protests for the
total ban of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS)
In a research made available by FISCANLOADED MEDIA The
peaceful protest was led by some group of people and youth leaders in the
state.
While a group kicked off their protest at the Idi Iroko Amuloko Ona Ara Local
Government Akanran Road and moved towards Ogbere Police Station Target.
The protesters blocked all the road in Ona -Ara Local Government in Ibadan,
carried placards of different inscriptions demanding the total ban of SARS.
The protesters also stormed the Ogbere Police Station.
The security at the gates of the Ogbere Police Station immediately shut the
Station when they sighted some of the protesters.
The protesters are at the front of the main entrance of the Ogbere Police
Station, demanded the presence of the DPO, to address them instead of the
Officer's.
