It's exactly one year ago that the elected members that constitute the 9th Oyo State House of Assembly were sworn in. Conspicuous among them is Rt. Hon. Abiodun Mohammed FADEYI, the Deputy Speaker, Oyo State House of Assembly.
Who is this Man?
Honorable Abiodun Fadeyi was born more than 5 decades ago into the family of Alhaji Abdul-Rasheed Adeniyi and Alhaja Moriamo Fadeyi of blessed memories. He had his primary and secondary education in Maiduguri, Borno State. He attended the Polytechnic Ibadan, Ibadan, Oyo State. After which he proceeded to NTA Television college, Jos and International Institute of Journalism.
His working experience started from being a Television producer on NTA Abuja. He later became the Special Adviser Administration on Legislative matters to the then Majority Leader, Federal House of Representatives, National Assembly Abuja, 2011-2015. He was appointed again in 2015 as the Special Adviser on Public Affairs to the Deputy Speaker, Federal House of Representatives, Abuja until he contested and won the 2019 election into the Oyo state House of Assembly.

Why All This Story?
Simple answer. It is to show the public, the positive correlation that exists between good educational background, training, work experience and political office occupies by Rt. Honourable Fadeyi - Deputy Speaker of Oyo State House of Assembly.
It is no gainsay that Ona-Ara LG electorates made the right decision by putting the round peg in the round hole. This has greatly translated into people-centered programmes and developments that are being implemented by the Hon. Deputy Speaker; among which I would mention some.
My Legislative Responsibility
In the last 365 days I am pleased to inform you that I have moved the following motions.
➡️ Need to tighten security against further incursion by killer herdsmen.
▶️ A matter of urgent public importance on the need to address persistent flooding incidents across the state which had brought hardships to landlords and residents of the state.
▶️ Need for Government agencies and other stakeholders to put measures in place to curb students from roaming the streets during school hours.

ACTIVITIES
👉The rehabilitation of boreholes and provision of generating sets to power them across all the wards in Ona-Ara LG constituency for the use of the people.
👉 Purchasing of JAMB form to 25 indigent students of Ona-Ara.
👉 Provision of financial support to various associations such as Nigeria Barber Association, Nigeria Union of Tailor, Association of Graphic Artists and Sign-writers, all within the local government.
👉 Facilitation of vehicle loans from SUBEB and TESCOM to teachers in Ona-Ara Local Government.
👉 Facilitation of recruitment opportunities into the Nigeria Police Force, NSCDC, NDLEA, OYRTMA, and UCH.
👉 Facilitation of training programme for Ona-Ara Youth in the Youth Empowerment programme of Oyo state.
