Famous Nollywood Yoruba Actress Funke Adesiyan Speaks On Next Plans After Stolen Mandate.

Famous Nollywood actress turned politician, Funke Adesiyan has expressed that she isn't retreating from politics issues regardless of her stolen command, which apparently set her back in her desire to serve her voting Constituency in Oyo State. 


Scarcely 24 hours subsequent to praising her triumph at the primary election of the party, where she professed to have developed the leading figure in front of the 2019 election, Adesiyan said she was stunned to discover that her name had been supplanted.

In an announcement marked by her and shared via social media stages, furious Adesiyan said she couldn't force herself to trust that her triumph could be upturned with no clarification.


The announcement read partially:

“While I am not quite happy that my hard-earned mandate was taken away from me, as this rudely stands against the principle with which I stand for, I can’t go against the wish of our party, (APC).

“I can’t understand why people, who bought forms sold at exorbitant prices, went for primaries and emerged winners only to be told that their names had been swapped for anointed candidates. One may be tempted to ask why we had primaries in the first place.”


Inquired as to whether she would dump the party to actualise her fantasy, Funke Adesiyan said she would settle on her choice known to people in general in the coming days, including that she was not the sort that would bow under strain, Tribune reports.

“This is obvioulsy not the last you would hear about me. I am a proper indigene of Ibadan as against what some people have been saying. I am from Kudeti in Ibadan and my forefathers were the ones who sold land to people in that area. I am working on my next plans. Something big is coming,” she said.
