Lagos State Security Guard Arrested For Stealing Wrappers And Bag Of Rice To Make Wife Happy.

A 40-year old night security protect, Mr. Keke Toluwani, has been captured in Lagos after he broke into two shops and stole two wrapper fabrics worth N6,000 and a sack of rice to satisfy his wife.

The episode occurred at Alimosho region of Lagos where he was a road market guard.


It was accumulated that Mr. Toluwani was experiencing strain from his better half who had blamed him for not dealing with her and demanded that he should purchase wrappers to appease her. Since Mr. Toluwani had no cash to satisfy the spouse's request, he got the wrappers using any and all means to satisfy his wife.

He was said to have broken into the shops having a place with two ladies, Mrs. Shonde Kudirat and Mrs. Ogunleye Yemisi, and stole the wrappers. Before he got away with the things, one of the inhabitants saw him when he was trucking them away. Toward the beginning of the day, the owners of the things raised alert and they were informed that it was Mr. Toluwani that stole the things that were absent.


Toluwani was gotten and the complainants reasoned that he was additionally the individual that stole a few packs of rice were absent. The aggregate sum of the things stolen was put at N176,000.

The issue was accounted for to the police and he was captured. He was later charged under the watchful eye of Ejigbo Magistrates court for taking.


He argued not guilty.

The prosecutor, Inspector G. Simon did not restrict his being conceded safeguard. Accordingly, the Presiding Magistrate, Mr. L.K.J. Layeni conceded Toluwani safeguard in the entirety of N100,000 with two sureties in like aggregate.

He was remanded in jail authority pending when he will culminate his safeguard condition.

The issue was deferred till sixth August, 2018.
