Super Eagles manager, Gernot Rohr has expressed that his players will play better when they conflict with Argentina on Tuesday night at the Saint Petersburg Stadium in their last Group D conflict in the 2018 World Cup.
The Eagles would achieve the knockout stage for the fourth time in six World Cup competitions on the off chance that they beat the La Albiceleste.
”Despite the huge pressure of expectation, it’s important that the joy of participating at a World Cup remains tangible in every training session,” Rohr said to fifa.com.
”It’s easy to show solidarity when you win but your real character only comes out when you lose.”
Rohr added : ”If you have a young team, then you have to be patient and accept that mistakes will happen because they’re part and parcel of the game.
”Even between our first and second games ,I could see a learning process taking place. The team will get better again in the third match.”
Rohr's side head into the diversion in the wake of overcoming Iceland 2-0 in their second amusement, while Argentina were mortified 3-0 by Croatia.
The commence time for the match is 7pm.
