Famous Yoruba actor, Damola Olatunji Olufemi is well know for his sweetheart kid and activity parts in movie. The performing artist has featured in more than 40 films and is very sought after on the Yoruba movie scene.

Damola Olatunji Olufemi is one of the speedy rising performing artist in the Nollywood Yoruba movie industry. He hails from Edun Abon in Osun State, Nigeria and He is the second child in a group of six.

1. He is the second child in a family of six, Damola Olatunji comes from Edun Abon in Osun state and had both his primary and secondary education in Ife.

2. Damola Olatunji Olufemi graduated in Yaba College of Technology, Lagos, where he studied Electrical Engineering.

3. Unlike many others, Damola didn’t always want to become an actor but an Engineer until back at Yaba College of Technology where he has a growing desire to engage in other activities.

4. Damola Olatunji thought of doing something else, and then joined a drama group where he did some stage plays. He joined friends who had been in the movie industry at locations and in studios.

5. Damola Olatunji was also inspired by his mentor, Yomi Fash-lanso who supported and encouraged him in acting.


6. Damola first shot into limelight by a role played in the Movie ‘Ojo’ produced by Opeyemi Aiyeola titled “Ojo (Rain)” directed by Yomi-Fash lanso.

7. Damola who is famous for his roles in Yoruba movies, got married to UK-based, Raliat at the Ikoyi Registry in April 2013, while his bachelor’s eve was at Troy Lounge, Lekki, Lagos. Their relationship went sour after infidelity accusations started trailing him.

8. Damola was alleged to have had a secret dalliance with delectable actress, Bukky Awoyemi, widely known as Arugba.  It was speculated that Damola met her on set and the casual relationship catapulted into an intimate one resulting in twins.

After his wife got to know about it she refused to come back to Nigeria from the United Kingdom until the issue was sorted out.
