“I inherited my looks, but I don’t eat everything I see and I don’t go everywhere. I am a very domesticated person; I like staying indoors, which preserves my strength. Even whenever I am on location, I stay in my room and listen to music; people only see me whenever I am driving in and out.

Regarding music i listens to, Solade stated:


“I listen to all forms of music, but I like Nigerian hip-hop a lot because it is our own. I like Wizkid, Davido, Yemi Alade, Tiwa Savage, Mr. Real, Slimcase and others because they have changed the game. I grew up dancing to Michael Jackson’s and other foreign songs, but we now listen to Nigerians.

“This is good for Nigeria and we have been able to replicate this too in Nollywood. We have reduced the way Nigerians depend on foreign movies.”
