I Invented The ‘Alternative’ Music Genre In Nigeria 2013 - Brymo.

Nigerian artist, Brymo who just released  another collection titled "Oso" that has since been having a positive reaction from fans has been very brave and striking as of late and indeed he's turn out to state he imagined the 'alternative' music genre in 2013.

As per Brymo,

In the Nigerian music scene, the ‘alternative’ was invented by me in 2013 as a cure to the ills of the mainstream, not to be a part of it.. to be ‘alternative’ means that the process of recording, performing, distributing and rating your work is different from the mainstream..
