Babatunde Omidina was born on 22 of August 1958 in Inabere Street in Lagos Island where he grew up however hails from Ikorodu local government zone of Lagos State, southwestern Nigeria.
He had his primary education at Jamaitul Islamial Primary School in Lagos and Children Boarding School, Osogbo before he continued to Adekanbi Commercial High School in Mile 12, Lagos state however acquired the West African School Certificate from Ifeoluwa Grammar School in Osogbo, the capital of Osun State, southwestern Nigeria.
He started acting in 1972 however came into spotlight after he included in a movie title, Omolasan, a film produced by Obalende.
He turned out to be more prevalent after he included in Iru Esin, delivered by Olaiya Igwe in 1997.
He had highlighted and produced in several Nigerian movies, for example, Baba jaiye jaiye, a movie that included Funke Akindele and Femi Adebayo, the child of the veteran performing artist Adebayo Salami.
In 2011, he was asserted of cocaine trafficking by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, an affirmation that was depicted as false and defamatory by the decision of the lagos high court.
His specialist was the late Bamidele Aturu, a Nigerian lawyer and human right dissident.
