British Nigerian actor, John Boyega, has uncovered why he utilized Star vocalist, Wizkid's melody 'Daddy Yo', among the soundtrack for his up and coming film 'Pacific Rim'.


The star of 'Detroit' and 'Star Wars', said he had the chance to impact innovative options in the film so it was critical to have Afrobeats music in the activity flick.

The Hollywood star had in December uncovered that "Pacific Rim", would intensely target Nigeria as a principle advertising spot.

Boyega on his Instagram composed;

“One of the most exciting things about producing Pacific Rim Uprising was the opportunity to influence the creative choices.

”So I put @wizkidayo song “Daddy yo” in the movie. Jaegers need afrobeats too!
