The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that M-NET, founder of Africa Magic and MultiChoice, made the declaration on their site on Friday.
Wangi Mba-Uzoukwu, Director of M-Net West Arica, stated:
“Nearly one year after the last AMVCAs, we are pleased to announce the call to entry for the 2018 edition of the Awards.
“The African movie and television industry is brimming with exciting talents, and at Africa Magic we contribute to the industry.
“We give these talents the platform to showcase their skills and passion, celebrate their achievements whilst also encouraging them to continue honing their craft.”
As per the coordinators, entries for the 2018 release will open on March 1 and close on April 30.
The site additionally said that there were 27 classifications on the whole, including that 7 would be opened to watchers and 20 chose by the regarded AMVCA board of judges.
M-net said that all movies made-for-TV movie or TV arrangement were qualified for entry,if they are communicated or openly screened amid the time of October 1, 2016 to March 31.
NAN reports that the AMVCA is a yearly occasion that perceives and commends commitments made by African movie producers,Actors and specialists to the accomplishment of the landmass' film and broadcast business.
It grants producers in various classes, going from acting,directing to scriptwriting and cinematography.
Different classifications include: short film or online video, soundtrack, ensemble planning, sound and lighting, among others.
