She stated, “There have been exceptional cases when I had to do night jobs, especially when we shoot crime scenes. But I always have things planned out. On the average, I sleep at movie locations only about three times in a year.

“There was even a time I stopped taking weekend jobs because I wanted to be with my kids. The producers were always complaining, but there was nothing they could do about it. When my kids were younger and I had to be on set on weekends, I never went without them.”


In spite of her strict work guidelines, Iyabo Ojo  said she hardly ever has issues with producers.“Professionalism works for me. If I am given a script, I put in my best even if I am not well paid. I don’t like being idle on set. If I am tired, I will not take a job. No producer has had reason to complain about my work ethics.”
